We're extremely pleased to announce a keynote presentation from Professor Steve Dixon of Brunel University. Professor Dixon is the author of Digital Performance and his presentation will highlight associated key issues and developments while also offering some predictions/projections about the future of the field.

Digidesign - Pro Tools 8

Digidesign UK have just confirmed their attendance at Imagine Create. Digidesign are a hardware/software developer to the very fore in terms of industry digital audio and increasingly live sound. On show will be the all new Pro Tools 8...can't wait to get a look!

 

 

Digital Slaves

Can this get any better? We're delighted to confirm that Digital Slaves will attend Imagine Create. This outstanding team of digital artists, all the way from France, will provide both a vvvv workshop (can't wait!) and a specially developed video mapped projection onto the Foyle Arts building itself for the launch of the festival. Simply wow!

Doug Ikeler

We're very happy to have Doug Ikeler with us on Saturday 4th April. Doug is a special effects supervisor at Sony Pictures Imageworks. Details of Doug's presentation will be announced shortly.

Craig Mullins

We are honoured and excited to announce that Craig Mullins will attend Imagine Create. Craig is a concept artist and illustrator of international renown. His work can be seen on some of the highest profile films and games over the last decade including The Matrix Revolutions, Armageddon, Contact, Apollo 13, Forrest Gump, Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Need For Speed and Fallout 3

Scanner

We're thrilled to announce an all Scanner event at the Void Gallery featuring an exhibition of Orbital / Raumgleiter (details below) plus a special live performance from the man himself. Tickets will be limited for this one and details will be announced shortly.

Sandinos: Thursday Line-up Confirmed

Following the official launch of the festival at the Foyle Arts Building, we move to Sandinos for a superb line-up of talent from Northern Ireland - Boxcutter (Live), The Crimson Underground and Stephen McCauley.

Motion Capture - Animazoo

Saturday 4th April will feature a Motion Capture (MoCap) demo by Animazoo. Details to follow shortly. Promises to be fun...

Philip Campbell

We're delighted to announce that Philip Campbell will be joing us in April. Philip has worked for EA and was the Creative Director for The Godfather and James Bond: Everything or Nothing & Agent Under Fire. Philip also worked at Eidos where he was the creator and senior designer of Tomb Rider: The Lost Artifact, Tomb Raider: The Golden Mask and Tomb Raider Gold. Specific details of Philips contribution will be released shortly. Exciting!

Irene Nolan

Irene Nolan will be with us on Thursday 2nd April. Irene has broad experience of the animation and games industries and has worked on both Shrek and Antz at Dreamworks and The Lord of The Rings and Freakstyle games for PS2 at EA. Irene will discuss her experience working at an animation studio and comparing that with the experience of working at a gaming company.
